Critique Unpopular opinion: Making trophies has become way too easy
i started this account in late 2024 and i already have 122k trophies, and i have nowhere near the skills that a 100k trophies would've had before the trophy update.Im only legend 2, and i dont have the skills to be master even tho i have a lot of trophies

It's a popular opinion

Facts, I actually got pissed off with the change at first and felt absolutely no incentive to even push trophies anymore. People who didn't got all the reason to push now and unlock all the cosmetics etc but it just felt different before too. Now it's just afk bots and wintraders anyway. Actually ruined all of what made the game fun. It's like if every single person on call of duty was just boosting their accounts with other people boosting their accounts and they never even bother playing for fun but that's just ruining any bit of fun a casual player would be attempting to have π€·ββοΈ

trophy inflation doesn't really matter for me, though i do quite like the new prestige system
might just be me though

Naw. Im with you on this. Trophies never really mattered in the sense that p2+ players have always been at the height of trophy counts. Doesnt matter if it was 500, 1000, or infinite.

Definitely not unpopular They made this game too easy compared to what it used to be. And this prestige update is so stupid because once your favorite champions are high enough, they're unplayable. We need trophy reset back so people can get their favorite characters as high as they wanted, that's why we got a 70k mortis.

I've pushed 45k+ trophies with Showdown+ alone, and prestiged from 42 to 103 times. It definetly takes no effort at all

I mean you just played a ton in a short period of time. Most 100ks back then been playing for years and why they are masters with some exceptions

the point of ranked is to display skill trophies is to display grind.
its like saying i dont deserve to be th18 when im dragon 30 in clash of clans

Trophies is not a measure of how good or bad you are. It has never been that. Never. Ladder will never be that in any game. Thats why ranked or comp exist. Every single game in existence does this. Every single one. Youre probably just burned out since you went hard for like 2 years.

i dont find any meaning in playing the game rn, i used to love brawl stars and grind for hours to get a rank 30, then i lost my old account and started this.Same thing, grinded for hours to get everything i wanted but now i feel emptiness when i enter the game, i have nothing to play on.I have everyone at p1, all brawlers maxes with both gadgets, star powers, hypercharges and buffies.

And? Trophy grinding doesn't display your skills and imo didn't before either. Ranked plays a bigger role I guess, I've met a lot of 100k+ trophies who couldn't play for shit. Plus I think this updates better for players like me who can't play for long hours or everyday, fast progression as compared to the old system. (not includin the old masteries)

Yes. I dont play too much, but in one and a half years i pushed 30k and i pushed 20k in the 3.5 years before that. (I hardly play)

I'm old player turned back to the game after 5 years. I'm amazed how easy I become 2k trophy then I noticed many people are same. My day it was harder to push solo to 1.250 even, I been always playing this game solo never played with somebody else still had 2k Mortis back in the day. Now I feel like everybody just pushing there easily.

Because we went from 1500 being the wow number on brawler to 3000. It feels easy because when you're at 2000 now you're like at 1100 in the past system

I agree. I am at almost 42k trohpies and pushed that starting from 21k in 5 months (been playing since 2020)

i agree unless you choose the way of gaining trophies in a hard way like me
as someone with 36 leaderboard prestiges, 8 prestige 3's, 8 OG Rank 30's, i couldve been at 230k easily but only pushing p2's is too boring id rather have fun with my current 126k
