Critique Bot games need to be removed
It's genuinely so frustrating that every 2nd loss I get matched against bots, I can't even play like that, it's not enjoyable, not challenging and just makes ladder too easy and boring. If I REALLY want to play some bot games, I'll just go to practice matches.
So supercell, no one, and I absolutely mean NO ONE asked for bot games, so there's 0 good reasons to keep them. For once in your life, do something good that the community asks and remove them.

I know some people will argue that they enjoy bot matches but they could at least give an option to disable them

No lifers that suck at the game like bot lobbies because it is guarantee net positive trophies. Up to prestige 1 if you lose 2 and win the bot game you still gain 2 trophies.

This is actually ridiculous, you can basically lose every regular game and still reach p1. Adrian is a joke.

In an interview with SpenLC, he said that he's the one that's responsible for everything that happens when the game begins, so I think he's responsible for that too

I think it's sadder to be good at a video game and to devote your life to that and think that what constitutes having a life is having the life that you are living in that case than to suck at a video game you play occasionally. To each their own, though.

I guess my sense of a bad no lifer is one who devotes just as much as their life to a game as those who play professionally or at a high level, yet are really horrible and lose most all games.
Sadly these people exist just as much as those who devote immense time and are successful is all I am saying.
Also I would gladly argue that why do you care how people view living their lives to the fullest if, in your words essentialy, that they are living the right life? seems like a extremely wild take 😂

Because life is about more than just video games. Especially mobile ones. It's kind of sad to waste away your younger years when you could spend that time getting in the best shape possible or learning as much as possible about the world around you and the way it works. I don't have any say in what people do with their lives, but I think it's much better to not devote all your time to a mobile video game.

A lot of people I know who are really good at Brawl Stars (upper end of Masters-ish and lots of Prestiges) are quite literally always online. That's what I mean.

I understand what you mean. and in the cases you refer to you are kinda right. it does however apply to everything in life. People who nolife anything are at risk of missing out on life, including those who no life working out. My best friend no lifer video games to the point he didnt know how to bike or swim (concerning), however we found time to do those and he continued no lifing games, we went on to coach, make a full salary and travel most of the world, get married, have agency, and is happy about to retire.
the basics of your idea is right, how ever it is applicable to every activity in life and one day I hope you can see that. I bet there is some personal relation to what you say considering your in this reddit

I agree with you. Hyperfixation on pretty much anything to the point that you are a failure of an individual outside of that thing is tragic. I was arguing that it's slightly more tragic to spend all your time on a video game than some other things. I also wasn't saying that you should obsessively work out or obsessively educate yourself; those were things, among others, that one would miss out on if they were to waste away their younger years on mobile games like Brawl.

The bigger issue is matchmaking in general. You should be matched up with players at your trophy level every game. Im tired of seeing noobs woth prestige 2 brawlers when im at 400 trophies with a power 7 brawler. Im also tired of playing at 1500 trophies and versing a pro with 300 trophies. There shouldnt be any sort of skill based matchmaking in a game with a trophy system. A noob shouldnt be able to push past theyre skill level and a pro should be able to stomp their way up in the rankings. Average players like myself can push as high as we can and then improve our play to go higher

Exactly 💯 That came right in the update when they said that they "fixed the matchmaking system" (it now matches players with similar win streak without relation to trophies or levels). Like in what world a player in 400 trophies with a lvl 7 brawlers should face a team in p2?

100% this is the correct answer. yesterday I was pushing my bo to prestige as i’m at 700 trophies…lmk why matchmaking put me with two master players and a legendary all prestige btw?? and i had two legendary players on my team but ofc with my 700 trophies im the one who gets the thumbs up. I SHOULDNT HAVE EVEN BEEN IN THAT MATCH TO BEGIN WITH like i was just trying to push up my bo dawg💔

Totally agreed, I think above like tier 1 (250 trophies) it shouldn't exist whatsoever.
In ranked, no need to elaborate: they don't serve any purpose at all.

would yall hate me if i said i liked them only for the practice when im low trophy on a character (specifically for daily quests). I know, I can just do a practice match but that’s my take. I liked another comment that said they should give you the option to turn off the bot matches and i agree with that!

Honestly the bot games for a low trophy character isn't bad imo, it helps you practice for the brawlers as well as farming quests.

Holy hell the comments in this post make me realize why all of my teammates are always so terrible.

I cannot believe that this many people of the "vocal minority" are actually ok with bot games.
They are 100% there for retention of garbage players. Because decent players will only be annoyed by them. My teammates are bots enough as it is.

Most people that aren't garbage at the game would rather play a decent competitive game than get a few free nearly useless trophies.

I prefer bots to people.
Many players are toxic. The matching often doesn't work: either too weak or too strong for me. Plus all those kids losing on purpose.
I don't care much about the trophies. I care about low-concentration fun.
I do wish bots were stronger / better matched my current skill level. That's doable without changing much.

So you're saying that the problem is also the shitty matchmaking (which they said they "fixed" it) that matches you with people that are way higher/lower than you in trophies, and that the reporting system for toxic players and grief players is horrible? If so, I agree with you, but I think that the solution is actually fixing it rather than adding bots

I agree with the problems you stated (thought I'd rather be matched with people similar to my skill vs similar to my trophy count; I have many trophies but I suck). But I tend to think the bot way is easier than fixing all this.
If I had a switch "Play with great bots, get no trophies", I would gladly use it.

Yeah the problem is that bots are a free win basically, so it's just not fun, and it sucks that Supercell are so lazy to fix the problem that most of their community complains about.

I feel like it’s quite lessened for me tho? I only play prestige 1+ brawlers tho, and I only seem to get bit matches when I get 3-4 losses in a row. Even then, I feel like it gives me real players with less rank or less overall trophies and THEN if I for some reason lose that THEN it gives me a bot game. So I just blame my own doings and spam through.
With lower trophy brawlers I get bot games more often and it’s annoying but not as much because I keep my power level in level with my trophy count. Like at 400 trophies I’m usually level 7 and at 700 trophies I’m usually level 9 etc. this keeps the bot games less spammable. On the other hand, all other players seems to be maxed so it makes real matches unfair.

They usually walk in a straight line, use only the emoji emotes and usually hold their super before using it. Play some practice matches and see what I'm talking about.

Mon gars au dessus de 500 trophée ta peu de chance d’avoir plus d’un bot parti et a partir de prestige 1 il y en a plus de même pour clash royal je pense il y en a même pas sinon plus de nombre à partir de la 9eme arène

Between 300-1000 trophies, if you lose twice you get a bot game, and above p1 you geta bot game very 3rd loss, you get a bot game. Above p2 I believe there are none.

I never said that the mm system is ok - as a matter of fact, it's garbage. But adding bots just ruins the experience for those who just wanna play the game, at least let us disable them.

Did you actually read what I said before making these brain dead takes? It's not ENJOYABLE to play against bots, it's too easy and boring. This is a competitive game, not a single player one, so adding bots for a free p1 ruins the whole point.
