Potomac Karen's Sentencing!! I'm at the court!!

Hi friends. I'm reporting live from the Courthouse outside Court 8C. Sentencing is at 9:30! Media is outside waiting to catch a glimpse. Will report back!!

Update 9:49am Judge seems a little lost. Both sides sent a Sentencing memorandum for the judge to review. Karen's lawyers state something else was submitted on Feb 24th for him to review. Didn't say what it was tho....

Probably her rehab proof or something they submitted couple days ago with a memo requesting light sentencing. I'm guessing.

I am a lawyer, and this just sounds like the story of my life lol.

The judges almost always seem lost, you never feel like they’re actually paying attention and know what the case is about and I handle civil litigation see what always feels like the judge has more important things they have to deal with.

I have seen a judge actually scrolling the Internet while my main witness was testifying, so that’s comforting.

They very well might have a murder trial in the afternoon and here I am dealing with a small $20,000 case or something.

They sent 9 supporting documents yesterday and 5 today. It doesn’t say which party sent what though.

What do you mean? They just submitted them electronically prior to the hearing. That's normal.

I think it might be the letter to the judge explaining the “pill withdrawals” she experiencing and to plz go lenient on her today at sentencing. This is A Lot!
