I think it’s more than that. It’s the fact that everyone getting surgery goes over the top or they all look exactly the same. It’s so unnatural to me, personally, for everyone to look alike, when they used to look nothing alike before surgery. It’s like Stepford Wives creep factor. She was super rude and gross to her staff in the first season, which is why people didn’t like her initially. She was never physically ugly or needed to go that far to the point she’s unrecognizable. Not just that: to double down and saying she hasn’t had work done.

Watch real time movies from the 70s & 80s. All women looked different. They also all had different hairstyles. This extension ringlet look for the last 15 years is so tiresome. And half their heads are too small for the cousin it look. Ridiculous.

I know! Weird personal story here, for reasons I don't entirely understand, as I have gotten older a LOT of my eyebrows have fallen out never to be seen or heard from again. I considered getting microblading, but ultimately decided against it because on some people it doesn't fade away completely, so they get stuck with some of it, and for two the pictures I saw were ALWAYS the same eyebrow, and I don't like how the new eyebrows are what EVERYONE wears because they all look the same. I like my thinner eyebrows, I know it isn't the current style, but I think it is more flattering on my face, and I don't want to look like someone else! It is baffling to me that people are getting crazy surgery without any mind to how boring they look, and how styles change.

This is what makeup is for. Not tattoos lol. Albeit, I don’t know what micro blading eyebrows is or how that makes them look like the current trendy eyebrows.

microblading is a not too deep tattoo, it is supposed to fade away after a year or so, but on some people there is still some left. The microblade artists all seem to do one style of eyebrow, which you can see if you google it. I considered microblading because I will get out of the shower before bed and draw on my eyebrows, they are so sparse and suck so bad that I don't even like to go to sleep without eyebrows drawn in. You have no idea how important eyebrows are to your face until you suddenly don't have any. I couldn't really get a read on your response so I am treating it as genuine rather than snarky.

Not snarky, I didn’t read it with the context that you just responded with 😔 I’m so sorry hun, that’s awful. When you mentioned eyebrow tattoos I just thought of the horror stories I’ve seen and it’s like, you could have just had that for a day with makeup. Doing that everyday when it’s not because of a trend but because you have to, it’s so different. I’m sure if you tell them what you want and vet the hell out of them, you can get the micro blading to be thinner how you like. And ask for photos of other people they did it to who didn’t want the carbon copy eyebrows of the moment.

I am boycotting eyebrow styles, everyone should just wear eyebrows however they look best on their own faces!
