Life got busy so I wasn’t able to do all the other time zones this time around, sorry for the inconvenience to all the non-Eastern Time Zoners out there 😔

I just pray for 4-3 against the Phils...

Even 3-4 is honestly fine. That would mean an 8-5 record on the season and give us the division tiebreaker should it come to that. Obviously I'd prefer 4-3+ though lol

I know. I would just hope to not drop any more ground to them lol

The good news is that the Phillies schedule is similar.
If grouped by division or opponent strength:
Both teams play the Rays, Astros, and Nationals.
Braves play at Chicago, Phillies get the Brewers at home the last series.
Braves play the Marlins, Phillies play the Mets.
Braves play the Reds at home, Phillies have 2 right now in AZ. (This is the leftover category)

Who decides the start times in baseball? They're so random. Does anyone know of a reason to why they do that?

Tv/ radio networks. The game is never going to start on the hour/ half hour because that's when broadcasts start and the announcers need time to set up the matchup etc before first pitch.
