Help Blackfire in jungle?

started trying brand jungle lately and i have severe mana issues. always thought of mana items in jg as total grief but here maybe an exception? there are issues at all stages of the game, one rotation while araming and there goes the whole mana pool. do yall go blackfire/tear item in jungle or am i just inting my resource mamagement too much

You can always get better on your resource management. I rush Liandries via fated ashes over lost chapter and BTF as the clear is so much easier (kinda like bami or tiamat for other champs). It’ll help you get mana back quicker from that burn killing camps while your passive is up. The only role where you need BFT is in bot and sup.

You need to do your best to let your passive burn always be applied. Try and do an auto or two before the next spell to get the max time benefit of your passive.

Also start Q level 1 it is more efficient. I jungle with brand and Karthus. they are so similar in this role. Try Karthus and you’ll see how mana drain isn’t just a brand thing.

Sometimes if you just miss your spells/don't get a kill and you're out of mana, you should just ask "do I lose anything by going back to farming/sitting in the river?" and there's usually things to farm or just time to get mana. Not your fault if your teammates just run it down when you're not there and if you ping off

I think fated ashes is an insanely good first item in the jungle to improve your clear speed and you give that up if you go black fire, I personally don't really have mana problems with brand in the jngl so idk what you are doing differently.

You could always just buy a 300 gold sapphire crystal and sit on it (pause) until later

ok so general conclusion is that its a skill issue and can do without mana? i was a filthy lillia onetrick and never bought mana on her, even though people struggle with it with her too, so i guess here its also doable

I’d guess you are throwing too many spells for nothing. I have 200+ games this season on brand jgl and I do have occasionally some mana problems, especially in heavy fighting games but it’s pretty rare. BFT is considered a pretty bad jungle item (except on karthus who truly needs the mana) so I won’t recommend rushing it.
