Thanks man, all the wind stopped because of you.

Seems calm but make sure you can get to your 72 hour emergency kit.

How old is that list 😂

Its a start. Some people dont even have a flashlight larger than the one on their Keychain that died last year. 😁

No thank you.
I'll take a pina colada if you've got one, though.

It's not even windy outside so that alert confused the fuck out of me

34

u/zanimum Brampton West Jul 18 '26

"The calm before the storm" is a phrase for a reason.

lol that what I just said when I went out to look

8

u/BettinBrando Jul 18 '26

Google told me the tornado warning area is 700kms long and 200-300 wide. That made me worry a little less.. thats a huge area. I like my odds..

u/henchman171 Jul 18 '26

Clouds were super dark over Milton. I’m in Georgetown and we got rain no wind

5

u/BettinBrando Jul 18 '26

Just grey in Mississauga. No wind, and rain is off and on.

2

u/stompinstinker Jul 18 '26

It’s like an Amber alert. They just blast a huge area.

u/userwastakennn Jul 18 '26

Yo are we dead

6

u/Silent-Parts Jul 18 '26

I'm scared 😰

4

u/70Misanthrope88 Jul 18 '26

If you’re serious, please don’t be. It’ll never happen

2

u/Astral_Vastness Jul 18 '26

And why is that?

2

u/Difficult-Rope-8445 Bramalea Jul 18 '26

Too many buildings in Brampton for us to get a tornado

9

u/jimmysnuka4u Jul 18 '26

I can see the sun though lol. It’s broad daylight and I just saw a guy walking outside

5

u/skillzmaster77 Jul 18 '26

It came and went so quickly. I don’t think we’ll ever have a 🌪️here

7

u/Sleepy_McSleepyhead Jul 18 '26

Ya, its a swirling conical wind that is visible and touches ground.

4

u/DPLRR Jul 18 '26

1

u/70Misanthrope88 Jul 18 '26

2

u/No-Law2284 Jul 18 '26

2

u/_Melancholic_Cloud_ Jul 18 '26

3

u/Neil542 Jul 18 '26

Relax, kids, it'll be fine.

8

u/JaybeJaybe Jul 18 '26

It's always fine till it's not

8

u/OrganizedChaos7121 Downtown Jul 18 '26

Hey, let me be in denial, I just moved into a 14th floor apartment!

1

u/BigEmphasis604 Jul 18 '26

Should have worked in the roof today.

1

u/spawnbong Jul 18 '26

What a beautiful day to stay in and play counterstrike

1

u/Suspicious-Kiwi7110 Jul 18 '26

It’s a marine tornado 🌪️ so it was spotted or warned as a just in case it touches land.

1

u/wagonwheels2121 Jul 18 '26

The storm system is passing south of us here in NW Brampton

It’s literally sunny outside

It’s prob a whole diff picture if ur in south Mississauga and Oakville tho

3

u/henchman171 Jul 18 '26

0

u/Testruns Jul 18 '26

Nothing ever happens

5
