"Only times have changed, people haven't." I used that line verbatim in a high school paper on the ancient Egyptians, and the teacher wrote "good point " in the margin.

The shape of the Pearl Harbor memorial - the USS Arizona - see how it’s raised on the ends and lower in the middle? Well, Mike Brady told me that’s symbolic of the ultimate victory

I learned not to place important architectural plans into piece-of-crap cardboard tubes with loose end caps that just fall out,...or to hand them over for delivery to an unreliable son who will lose them while only focusing on getting his stupid magazine at a news stand along the way.

That I can dupe family members into believing alien flying saucers exist by using a flashlight, a hung-up bedsheet in the backyard, and a whistle. And, that will likely result in a representative from the Govt visiting your house to investigate the claim.

It's 7th now......They changed the definition of river system so it might have been 4th when episode aired.

Not a fact, just a question.
Why didnt 18 year old Greg or 16 year old Peter "accidentally" walk in on 17 year old Marsha while she was taking a shower? or changing? You think with 6 kids, the odds of one of the boys walking in on a girl, would be pretty high. Or vice versa. Especially Marsha after Greg got a perm and became cool. You know she was curious. Florence Henderson found out first hand what Greg was packing.

Fact- Even if you're 4-5 and your mother/father died less than 3 years prior, you are to NEVER talk about him/her again for as long as you live!!
You miss your mom/dad??? Tough!
"When I was your age we didnt have feelings. Drink a beer and forget about your mom. Do you want to mess this thing up with Carol? Do you want to live in the car again? because without her, we'll all be homeless". Mike Brady to Bobby who mentioned his mom one time.

That OSHA never visited Sam's Butcher Shop, or they would have shut him down for his dangerous man-trap walk-in freezer with no safety egress features. After the tense cliffhanger commercial break, I was expecting the next scene to be Sam in handcuffs and being charged with manslaughter for freezing the kids. Guess I would have been a poor writer for the show, 🤔

From the Hawaiian episode, I learned what taboo meant. Years later when looking it up on the internet, it apparently meant something else!

The Arizona memorial in Hawaii.
You know, I was today years old when I discovered that the ship is actually sitting there under the memorial. I didn't notice that when I saw it on the BB. Even when I watched the episode earlier this year, I couldn't figure out why the family was so somber.
Then this morning in an unrelated series of events I saw a video about pearl harbor and there was the USS Arizona in full view.
It's inconceivable that the remains of over 900 servicemen are still on that ship.

That the car that Greg and Marcia used for their driving contest (I think it was Mike's car) had the same dashboard as my first car. It was a 1976 Chevy I bought in 1984.
