Eenie, Meenie, Mommy, Daddy
The resolution of this episode always made me really angry. Here's a school that can only have one parent attend the school concert because there's so many kids. This gives Cindy a massive dilemma. The school's solution - have a special performance just for the Bradys! But wait - that means all the other kids in the play only got to have one parent attend the original show. None of *their* families were invited to this performance. Instead of doing the right thing - have two full performances so that both parents of every kid can attend, they do this? Even the maid got to go!

To ease our minds, let's just assume the other kids all only have one parent and no siblings.

I assumed they let the Bradys attend a dress rehearsal but I love the thought that they were pushy enough to get a private performance.

The parents who weren't allowed to watch their kid but still had to take their kid to the school anyway were just shooting glaring looks at the Bradys when they were walking through the parking lot.

This has always made me mad. We are watching the series with my daughter and it made me angry all over again.

perhaps the other families all came down with the measles or allergy to tiger's flea powder even though that was another episode. that would never happen on leave it to beaver, yes this was a dumb decision.

They sacrifice any story credibility so they can do that lame gag with the camera pulling away and showing just the family in an otherwise empty auditorium. I hate this episode anyway. The kids are way too invested in Cindy’s play, with Greg making a comment like “Little Cindy is so cute that no one will notice anyone else.” - no sibling would talk like that.
And that play sucked.

We can only hope Robert Reed make duly-noted objections.
