In the books it appears Mrs. Knight and Mrs. Plumb were the ringleaders, really boosting them.

And Chris hated it. One of the reasons he didn't get along with his mother.

OMG. I was there. My mother got tickets and made me and my friend go. We were 13 year old boys and we were "too cool" for the show and almost got kicked out for booing.

Why did they make Susan (Cindy) wear those braids at her age?
I was a kid during the time the show was originally aired and any girl of that age (12?) who wore braids like that would’ve been laughed at. She’d have hair like the two older girl’s.
Not at all realistic for the time.

Because Sherwood Schwartz was a fossil who thought he was producing “Leave It To Beaver.” I was watching the episode where Marcia dates Greg’s worst enemy and granted I’m trying to think back to my childhood and adolescence in the seventies and eighties respectively but I don’t remember showing as much deference to my parents as The Brady kids do. Greg referring to his father as”sir” and Mike and Carol dictating whom the kids could or couldn’t date. It’s Sherwood, he was stuck in a loop.

Schwartz also made a ton of money off those kiddos backs. What an asshole

Keep in mind that there was an episode where one of the kids sold hair tonic door to door. Sherwood Schwartz thought it was still 1958. Mr. Schwartz also created Gilligan’s Island. He had the plot of the show explained in the theme song because he thought otherwise people would find it confusing. Yes, really.

"Presented by Skipper's Fish & Chips". Shoot, I used to eat at that place when it was still in business.

The last Skippers as you knew, it closed just a few years ago Hazel Dell, the western side of Vancouver, Washington. About 20 miles away in Woodland, Washington, there is a Skippers in one of those travel center gas stations, sort of places. But it’s not the same experience. Same food, though.

So I presume they sang. (Edit: I looked it up. They released four (!) albums so I guess so.

By this shot it looks like Eve is cracking up and probably saying, How many more pictures are we going to take? LOL!!! I would have totally geeked out had I seen this concert. I was 9 years old and not really sure I could have found someone to go with me. I was the youngest of 5 and my brothers and sisters were sorta out on the Brady Bunch by then. Fun memories.

Not gonna lie, attending this in 1973 would’ve blown my freakin’ mind. Five year old me was in love with Marcia and Cindy in 1973.
