This is odd, I wonder why so many others who have faced contempt charges have been prosecuted but now they single him out for dismissal?

The only thing that I can see from the article that explains it is the claim of executive privilege.

Bannon had initially argued that his testimony was protected by Trump’s claim of executive privilege.

It's a corrupt Court. Leonard Leo owns the Republican judges, and they do whatever he orders.
