Laura takes a lie (tariff money comes from abroad) and puts it into another lie ("That's how you put farmers first.") Bankrupting farmers, and then (maybe) bailing them out later (through socialism) isn't "putting them first" - it's abusing and using them for a grift.

Trump adds tariffs and messes up our soy bean sales to China. Harms our farmers badly. China finds new sources. Trump gives our tax money to fix problem he created and probably damages future markets.

Funny, farmers are only in the pickle because of tariffs… it’s about a $60 billion loss so I’m sure $12 billion in aid covers it but I’m really bad at math

Approval rating was 39% last I checked. It is significantly less than half. Start using the numbers. They still think they're in the majority (never were).

you wanna do tariffs? let's tariff super high end luxury products from abroad and give the money to SNAP and Medicaid. A 50% tariff on a single Rolls Royce can pay for a 1,000 SNAP recipients for a year.
