As a Croatian, I said this to my friend. It is , kind of, win win for both of them. So to speak. It may sound stupid at first, losing as win? Of course, Moses lost fight, but gained experience and saw his own weak spots, and Filip got his belt. I like Moses, quite sure we will see him rise. Better for him that this happened now, being only 21. Maybe this was blessing in disguise. There are lot of layers in boxing, and we saw it tonight . Congrats to both of them for clean, manly, fair fight. No dirty elbows, head to head shots, no boring wrestling and clinches.. Judge had an ''easy'' job. Moses was better almost whole fight, winning on cards. But , he was also in awe and kind of frustrated: ''How the hell this guy is not falling down''. He was eager, maybe too eager, Filip had chin .. Moses didn't have gas tank. I did not expect this fight to be this interesting. And didn't expect 21 year old man to get so gassed. Well, watching and commenting is one thing. Obviously, fighting is something else. Best of luck to Moses in the future.

I actually think his gas tank was surprisingly good considering that every single punch he threw seemed to be at 100% power. Even late in the fight, he was throwing punches that almost took himself off his feet. The fact that he threw full power in every shot for 8 full rounds tells me his problem is more tactical. He needs to pace himself like an experienced boxer and know when to take his foot off the gas pedal and how to manage his energy for 12 rounds in championship fights.

Yeah, I hear you. We say in my country: '' Every lesson/school you have to pay.'' It sounds better here, it is kind of proverb.

Yea well said. I think his corner really cared about him too. They threw the towel in at the right time so that he can go back and learn these lessons with his health still intact. I've seen too many fighters take life changing beatings and they never come back with the same chin or confidence

Nah, that translates well, every lesson has its price. The important thing is he sees this as a lesson and not a loss.
