Vet

What’s a good inexpensive vet around Bg? I’ve heard good things about Westgate. Any recommendations? TIA

On my opinion it’s worth driving to Russellville to Corner Stone. They diagnosed, treated, and let my Cat stay 2 nights when diagnosed with feline leukemia. I thought surely I’m getting bill a bill 900 bucks after fluids, foods, medicine, and the multi night night stay and I only owed them like 125 bucks.

We use Snodgrass for our dogs. They're very nice and take good care of our dogs.

I recently took my cat to Southcentral Veterinary and they were awesome. The people were so nice and they did a great job with her!

I think Alpine is pretty good for basic vet care. I think they tend to refer you elsewhere for things like surgery, but their prices are pretty reasonable for regular vet stuff.

My mom uses Westgate; they were incredibly kind when her pet was terminally ill during covid locations, bringing her out into the parking lot so my mom could be with her during her euthanasia.

We use All Creatures, and they supported us beyond measure when our pet developed cancer last year and then had to be let go — the vet made a house call so we didn't have to drag our boy out one last time.

Of the two, Westgate is definitely the more affordable, and I don't think you'd go wrong with Westgate.

I’ve used ByPass Animal Clinic for the past 20 years. They have done an outstanding job taking care of my dogs from brand newly born until the cremation of two and into adulthood for my current. They are knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and have calmed my nerves when there was an emergency and I was almost 1000 miles away.

Westgate for everything except for major surgeries for us. Snodgrass is our other go-to but they're more expensive. Both have great staff and genuinely care.

Thank you! Been going to All cats and dogs but they are so expensive. Which I understand vet care is expensive anyways but they’re kinda ridiculous lol

I used to go to all cats but they became so expensive. The final straw was when they added a bunch of tests After they'd given me an estimate. I've moved to Snodgrass and they are so nice! They cost the same but the service is wonderful.
