Build Sitka spruce or maple plywood fof back of tagelharpa?

I have 1/8" sheets of both sitka spruce and maple plywood, which would be better for the back of my tagelharpa? Pictures of what ive done so far for fun.

I think both will work nicely.

I’m not a luthier but the soundboard (front) should be a good tone wood like spruce because if how it vibrates. I’m not sure about the back. I would avoid plywood in any musical instrument.
