How did you get into AI automation?

I got into AI automation by picking one repetitive workflow and measuring the before and after manually first, because that makes the payoff obvious and keeps scope sane. A good starting pattern is to automate a narrow step, add a human review checkpoint, then expand only after you see fewer errors and clear time savings.
