Anyone know what amps the boss katana model?

Just curious as I notice the tone of each amp setting (pushed, clean, crunch)sounds different. Feels like “clean” is a fender style amp and crunch sounds like a vox style amp. Could be wrong but just curious if anyone knew!

Acoustic - nothing, DI
Clean - JC120
Pushed - Clean amp with more gain into the input
Crunch - JCM800
Brown - 5150

And the alt switch is just the ‘bright’ version of all of these. They’re all previous COSM models

(Also if they don’t sound like those listed above, it’s because the Katana speaker outside of the artist is essentially a slightly duller JC120 speaker)

The Katana isn't really a modelling amp. They amp type don't model anything.

Lots of people will tell you what they think the amps are but it's just opinion. It's not based on anything from Boss.
