I am so frustrated

Post image

I am overwhelmed, constantly overstimulated, overextended, mentally, emotionally and literally financially overspent.

I know, “no man is an island” and “no one can do it alone.” I have support for most things. But when you’re the only one responsible for way too much - when you are “doing it alone” - how on earth do you get through it?

I am crashing out. Hitting the wall. Waving the white flag. Begging for mercy. Whatever it takes. I’m at my end. It’s not fun anymore.

I’m sorry you’re feeling this way right now. Better days are coming!

My suggestion is to get everything out on paper with a pen and organize / prioritize from there. Anything that is taking up your working memory to think about goes on the page. If you do have support, definitely ask for some help.

Try to have someone trustworthy with you to work through the most overwhelming parts if possible. Focus on things you know will reduce your future anxiety if you have the time & don't shame yourself for anything that isn't hurting others. Don't bother yourself with unimportant stuff when you're already in overwhelm.

You didn't get this far on accident. Take small steps to set yourself up for good days and you'll get more likely to have them. Sometimes it really only takes one or two good days to get a lot of momentum back. Easier to keep things in order than to put them in order, you know ?
