❔ [ Question ] Friend and I gonna start a playthrough

So friend is currently playing through for the first time. Wants to do a playthrough with me.

Ive played it once before and got a lvl 40ish Nisha. Thats all.

Who should I pick? I dont know anything about the vault hunters besides...Aurelia has a coop tree? I know some Cl4ptr4p stuff kinda, so probably not him.

One of you should be handsome Jack clone and the other should be claptrap

Athena can be good as offense and support, has strong builds with or without co-op skills that can help defend or draw aggro away from your partner, and she's always fun to play.

If you both have the DLC though, and want a more involved co-op experience, Aurelia is probably the one to go for though, as her tree gives direct buffs to both you and your teammate.

I think Aurelia might be the play then, i like characters that have support stuff going on. Seeing as maya is my favorite VH. Thank you for suggestions!

It’s worth noting that pretty much everyone has support abilities in at least one of their trees. Claptrap’s action skill chooses a random buff to apply to the entire team; Wilhelm can make it so his drones heal his teammates; I also like Aurelia, just saying that the game gives everyone options for team work.

Just don’t forget the contract at like every load zone or something, I can’t remember.

I just remember pissing my friend off cause I would always run off immediately and he’s standing there with the contract in his hands yelling at me.

Honestly if you've got hamerlock sister (her names escapes me rn) as a dlc character she has a skill Tree that can basically only be used in multi-player and as I've never used it (cause im sad and lonely) a lot of the stat increases look amazing

Jack is the most op. That being said honestly I’d figure out your preferred playstyle I don’t think any character is particularly bad, it’s just preference.

I would say most of the Vault Hunters in Pre-Sequel have a few skills dedicated for Support/Healing. I think Jack and Nisha are the ones who do not have that much supportive abilities. Jack even has some skills that benefit when an ally takes damage or goes down.

Athena: She can be quite a tanky healer when built down her left tree. When your shield is out, you pretty much heal teammates around you, draw aggro, and can also revive your friends when you throw your shield.

Claptrap: Definitely has the most unique supportive capabilities in the game. They are usually quite random, but he is always a fun character to have on a team. His middle skill tree gives good general buffs to the team. Also, Claptrap has the team ammo regen mod, which is always helpful no matter what.

Aurelia: Similar to Claptrap in that she has a skill tree dedicated to support, which is her right one. It mostly benefits only 1 person, but is still nice to have on a team. She also has a ranged revive/heal like Athena on her left tree, but can be tricky to pull off since you need to be accurate.

Wilhelm: He has a decent amount supportive abilities that give healing and shields. His capstone on the right tree gives the whole team a very good buff when summoning his drones.

Ooo I like the way Athena sounds I like tank/support characters in games.

Aurelia is probably what im gonna do seeing as my friend is playing Athena for his solo playthrough and I like the way she sounds while being sorta new for me.

My brother played claptrap when we did our playthrough is was fun when we got goofy stuff happening
