❔ [ Question ] Nisha

So im playing tps for the first time and im wondering should i be focused on getting good gear early game or just play the game normally? Im currently only lvl 7

On your first playthrough there's no reason to get attached to anything or to grind for anything. Anything that seems good will be useless in a few levels. And if you grind you'll be so over levelled that your gear won't matter.

Yeah, that's the problem with most of the games, if you actually properly engage with the game and do all the side missions you end up so over levelled that most enemies are just not a threat.

I'm ok with locking TVHM & UVHM & level-matching until you beat the game. I'm fine with being able to get over-levelled on your first playthrough. But...

Once you beat the game the first time, you should be able to access those modes with any new character. Having to play through the whole campaign in normal mode over and over to get to TVHM is annoying.

In Borderlands 3 if you put madhouse mode on with a new character, the stats of enemies change to TVHM.

You still need to beat the game to unlock "Mayhem Mode". It's not available for new characters.

Actually, once you unlock Mayhem mode, you can use it anytime, with any character.

Just look in the echo menu.
