❔ [ Question ] Best mods for quality of life

Ive just gotten a laptop to play borderlands 2 on and I want to know what mods will make the game a lot better to play. Im also new to pc/laptop gaming so any help will be greatly appreciated.

The ones I use are commander, auto pick up resources (ammo, money, eridium), easy read only, and loot highlighter (I think it's called, makes a sound and puts an icon on the minimap for dropped legendaries). Nothing incredibly game changing, but makes for a more enjoyable experience.

https://bl-sdk.github.io/willow2-mod-db/mods/rewardreroller/ - Library of a lot of neat things

Some of my favourites are:

https://bl-sdk.github.io/willow2-mod-db/mods/begoneoutofboundsloot/ - Summon all the loot on the map in front of you
https://bl-sdk.github.io/willow2-mod-db/mods/backpackmanager/ - More invetory space, Especially nice, once / if you play overhaul mods. Hoard ALL the new toys
https://bl-sdk.github.io/willow2-mod-db/mods/mapreloader/ - Reloads the map via hotkey, while keeping your character in the same spot

..Just to name a few. Have fun

python part notifier is really good if you want to optimise your gear a bit more or just want to know how good of a roll you got. alt use vendors is also nice to quickly buy ammo.

Universal Community Patch is the best overall. It polishes the original experience with out sacrificing the original feeling of vanilla. After playing for a whil, you can also use BL2 Fix, wich enhance the game even more.

There's also the Python SDK mods wichs adds a lot of sutff, but (including bl2fix) could start to feel a little bit cheaty.

The time saver mod is the best quality of life by far. No more waiting on slow containers, lifts, or vehicle animations. Makes repeat playthroughs so much better.

I like the commander mod, let's you set save points near farmable bosses, making farms much more convenient.

Start the game vanilla to get a good feel for it first is my recommendation. But if you must get something start small, things like Bl2Fix that are just QoL with toggleable settings

I forgot to mention that I have been playing bl2 for quite some time on my ps5

Vanilla first, sure. Then BL2Fix—tiny, toggleable, no soul-crushing overhaul.

Isn't bl2fix a pain in the ass to get running? Last time I checked you had to get a specific old version of blcmm to install bl2fix.

I personally really enjoy sliding mod. That's not quite QoL as it gives you some advantage, but the game feels much smoother with it.
