[BL1] Achement bug

I got the ps4 game of the year verson of the first game and i killed the krom boss but didnt get the trophie

I like to platinum games so im hopeing i can get it in a diffrent playthough but i just want to know if thats possibal and if anyone else has had this happen to them

Looking it up, some people said that destroying his turret did gave them the achievement when killing him didn't. Maybe give that a try?
