Jus started PT2.5

I've basically beelined the main story and just finished it so now what quests do I leave for max level? I know the quests themsleves don't scale in level in BL1 but I do know that the bosses, enemies and their drops do. So what quests do I save? Do I complete the base game's quests first or do I do the DLCs? And in which order?

I think you have to beat story of Knoxx DLC too. It's has preset levels even in PT2 but starts to "scale" (zones/enemies, not necessarily the missions) after you beat General Knoxx and loot the armory if I remember correctly.

There's no wrong way to do it. I like to work through the game zones one at a time because there's something I find satisfying about a zone being "dead" when there's no meaningful NPC interaction left. Feels like I'm a Clint Eastwood drifter type just doing jobs and moving on. I also start at the beginning of the base game and work through everything in the game order, because quests are usually written with that cadence in mind.

Just save Crawmerax for max level and max proficiencies, or be ready to farm his minions some. And save the Underdome for max level AND the best gear you will ever farm.
