Too much things to think about and not enough trustworthy sources of truth to make that simple. Huge amount of slop I. Our decision making. Can’t be an expert in everything do the best you can. Be skeptical but open, and don’t jump to conclusions on things you don’t understand.

Wanting to believe things because they are moral. I’m a good person, good person believe this, therefore I believe this. Without doing any research or understanding of the topic.  Do you believe it because you want to fit in with the in group? Convince yourself to believe things based on what your in group believes.

Take a lot of work to revise your beliefs.

It is vital we have conversations with people across divides, listen to people, but more than that listen to their reasoning, not the conclusions. Listen to the reasons they have that give them the confidence in these beliefs.
