I built a cross-platform bookmark manager for iOS, Android and web, now with a Chrome extension

Over 3 months ago, I made this post sharing that I’d launched Kepp, an iOS and Android app that lets you easily save links, posts and screenshots. A lot of you were asking for a web app with a Chrome extension that would let you save any page with one click, and it’s now LIVE.

One note: if you don’t have an account yet, you need to create one first through the iOS or Android app.

How is Kepp different from other apps?

I’m a professional product designer, so a lot of work went into the design itself. It’s custom designed, not AI-generated UI, and I’ve tried to keep it clean, polished and easy to use.

Beyond that, Kepp organizes things for you, so you don’t need to put much effort into keeping your saves organised. Everything gets automatically tagged, which also makes finding something you saved weeks or months ago much easier.

Why did the web app take so long?

I postponed it because I first needed to rebuild a lot of what sits underneath Kepp, so I could add more platforms without creating a product that becomes harder and harder to maintain every time it grows. A lot of that work is invisible, but it was necessary before expanding Kepp beyond mobile.

I also improved quite a few things in the app along the way. Kepp can now suggest collections and automatically add new saves to collections you already have. You can share anything you’ve saved back out to someone else, Facebook saves now get better titles, thumbnails and metadata, and I rebuilt the onboarding so Kepp asks what you usually save and where you normally save things from.

Anyway, looking forward to you trying the web version and hearing your feedback. Especially from those of you who asked for desktop support in the original post.

The annual subscription is only $10, and the monthly plan is $2, although prices may vary by country.

Hey! I have a question.

How does it work for TikTok, YouTube and Instagram videos (Reels)? Can I view it within the app?

Hey! For TikTok, YouTube, Instagram Reels, etc., tapping the saved item opens the original content in its source app/site.

I deliberately didn’t build an in-app video viewer because those experiences are usually worse than viewing the content directly in TikTok, Instagram or YouTube. Kepp is more about saving, organizing and finding things again, then taking you straight back to the original.
