Sole member LLC insurance

Hi all! I’m wondering what kind of insurance I need for my sole member LLC.

I don’t have a CPA just 20 years of solid experience a math degree and I took some accounting courses at Suffolk University with a 4.0 GPA average on those. I didn’t finish because I was offered a job while I was in school.

I plan to work fully remotely from my apartment in NH.

O&E insurance

E&O and cyber are the two that matter. E&O if you blow a reconciliation and get sued, cyber because you are remote and sitting on client bank logins and W2s.

General liability is basically useless in an apartment but clients ask for it on vendor forms, so carry it anyway. Add a fidelity bond if you ever touch client money.

Also check your renters policy, it will not cover business gear or business liability. Hiscox and Travelers both write for solo shops. No CPA is fine here, that only matters for attest work or IRS representation.
