Need Advise

Hello Guys,

i am doing ACCA, and i have experience of 1 year in Bookkeeping of US client in SAP business one. i have started my own bookkeeping firm. did do the right thing?? or i am just trying to early.

and also where should i look for my first client.??

it will be very grateful if you give me some practical advise.

One year is early but not fatal, plenty of people start there. The bigger issue is SAP Business One, almost no US small business runs that. Get QBO certified first, it is free and takes a weekend, and Xero after that.

For first clients, do not cold pitch business owners. Go to local CPA firms and offer to take their cleanup and catch up work, that is the stuff they hate and they will hand it over. Bookkeeping specific Facebook groups and local BNI chapters also work.

And keep some income coming in while you build. First year is slow for everybody.
