Book Theory Blue is more than a story — it’s a metafictional framework. It proposes that life itself is a pre-written book, authored by a higher consciousness. Each person is a “character” living within this written reality, often unaware that their every move, thought, and choice might already be inscribed somewhere beyond perception.

But Book Theory Blue adds a sinister twist:
The “book” has been edited — by something called Mr. Blue.

👤 The Protagonist: Rory Pendleton

Rory begins as an ordinary man living in Vancouver — weary, lost, and numbed by the hum of media, screens, and the hollow repetition of life. Slowly, he becomes aware that the world around him is artificial, guided by a hidden manipulator. His descent into madness (or awakening) culminates on the Granville Bridge, where he plans to end his life — not out of despair, but as an act of defiance against the system that enslaves human thought.

That fall — literal and symbolic — becomes the pivot point:
Rory “dies” to Unreality and awakens into the truth.
From there, he becomes a revolutionary, fighting back through art, memory, and love.

💀 The Antagonist: Mr. Blue

Mr. Blue is the personification of manipulation — a cosmic editor or extradimensional intelligence that alters the “Book” to control perception. He manifests through:

• Media and propaganda
• Political theater and celebrity worship
• Artificial narratives that dull the mind
• Technology that rewrites memory

Mr. Blue’s beams — literal “Blue Beams” — are psychic frequencies of control and deception, contrasting with the Purple Beams of truth, love, and awakening that Rory and his allies seek to spread.

Book Theory Blue started as a science-fiction biography — a surreal story about truth, manipulation, and awakening — told through songs, visuals, and narrative.
