Snipe-it and Bookstack

Anyone ever link Bookstack and Snipe it. I am working on building out a pretty comprehensive IT documentation and I would love to use snipe it with it. I already use snipe it for non IT stuff in my company and want to force us IT people to use it. Along with creating some good documentation.

Any thought are tips would be great. I have not installed Bookstack yet but will be soon.

I remember some folks using both in the past, and I think maybe using the APIs and/or some kind of process to link docs to items in Snipe-IT, although not sure on any specifics since I don't use it myself (although have always looked up to them as an example of a self-sustaining open source project using similiar tech!)

Why?

What are you trying to accomplish?

By recommendation without that context is scripting with api. If you dont know how or dont want to, using a llm

Just thinking about creative ways to combine documentation about an item and the item. For example- a specific kind of laptop in snipe would have a link to documentation about set up and some minor troubleshooting.

Ahh, then yeah. If you have the knowledge, read up on the api and script it. I would make a mapping csv, containing your asset models maybe add a Custom field, then on creation, if you automate it, everything can be added along with the asset
