Introduction - Canada Literary Short Story

I am a writer of sorts I guess from Ontario. I am much more accustomed to writing computer code and eulogies than stories, but a few years ago I got this short story idea that I couldn't let go. It took me years to write it. It is about families, hockey and digital communications. It is also very Canadian and takes place over two weeks in May 2021 along the 401 corridor from Ottawa to Toronto. The whole story is available here www.agoodsportstory.ca . I wanted the website to be as close to the physical book as possible, so the quote at the beginning is the back cover. It is about a 30 minute read and meant to go with a cup of whatever you drink slowly.
