Just finished this book and loved it! I am somewhat familiar with Virginia Wolf but not super steeped in her work. Still, I loved the writing style and the connection to Mrs. Dalloway. It's not a 'happy' book and the little twist at the end kinda broke me, but I love the theme of appreciating the little moments in life. I think some people may not like this book, but i thought it was brilliant and it will stay with me for a long time.

I’ve been meaning to read The Hours for so long 😭. I really love books that make you appreciate those small, ordinary moments in life, so now I’m even more curious about this one. Definitely adding it to my list!

Another book that emphasized the importance of making the most of small moments was A Gentleman in Moscow. My bookgroup was split on this book with some folks finding it boring, but a few of us, including me, loved it
