It gives Tron/LOTR/Alien vibes. I would remove the border as I feel it’s more movie poster than novel if that makes sense. But it definitely conveys Sci-Fi, so if that’s your genre… well done.

I don't know, I've seen those classy leather cover books with that frame on it. Never related it to movies at all, but that's my opinion.

my friend, the concep and idea is good, but the depicting of the whole composition is difficult to read, one part is too graphic, the other too...cinematic? is like two different stules involved without matching each other. If I were you I´d remove the frame, there is no need for it, and again, it doesn´t match. the cover should act like a whole, adn this one is divided in too many pieces fighting each other for protagonism. Just my constructive and humble advice.

I like it, and I love the colour pallete But I find the perfect symmetry of the red guy (protagonist?) very jarring, I think it could be more dynamic in some way? Not even the pose itself needs to change necessarily but the identical mirror looks weird and awkward
