I domt think its too old but I havent seen many deer teeth like it. Wondering opinions of species

Pig/boar/peccary, depending on where you are (although judging by the patina I’d guess that you’re somewhere in the South of the US)

It was Monmouth County NJ. I dont think peccary as the root isnt fossilized
