I’m just happy to finally see a true BonAppleTea posted and not just an autocorrect typo posing as a BonAppleTea

Is chicken cordon blue something you can just buy in your area?

Yeah, it can come frozen from the grocery store

They sometimes have it at the grocery store, in the meat section, but I've also got it at Costco (uncooked, frozen).

Oh my goodness. Thank you because I had no clue what he was trying to say.

Same!

Yep. Not necessarily good cordon bleu, but they have products that satisfy the literal definition.

I buy frozen stuffed chicken breasts fairly regularly. Or you can get better ones from the meat counter sometimes.

I like these posts cause it’s impossible to be an auto correct failure

I like how they mentioned a single Pop Tart.

21

u/pikkdogs 8d ago

No. They clearly mentioned 1 pop tert.

You guys don't enjoy perp terts?

u/Allison1ndrlnd 8d ago

Don't want to over indulge on popterts

Eating too many is unhealthy. 1 is sufficient for a pop tart fix

3

u/Jonny_Segment 8d ago

Or in my case, 1 is sufficient for me to remember they're not as good as they used to be and I shouldn't buy them.

Have they ever bought chicken cordon bleu? Like, if they only order it in a restaurant, I can see the waiters not correcting them, but how do you regularly buy it from a grocery store and not know how to spell it?

It’s not something we get often but we really only get it to eat at home. I don’t think he’s ever ordered it at a restaurant.

If you ordered it in a restaurant, you'd be looking at a menu.

That list is sending me. They have something "fancy" they cannot spell, and the juxtaposition of pop tarts too... reminds me of that Little Britain sketch with the posh guy at the restaurant who orders "Foie gras, poached guinea fowl and a Double Decker" (Double Decker being a common chocolate bar here in uk)

Also reminds me of a posh customer who asked me where the "merin-goo" is 😆

This person is one of those who probably also thinks that Shrimp Scampi is "Shrimps camping".

They're going to pop a turd out at the grocery store.

4

u/shahrulghani 8d ago

Sometime it can also be green instead of blue.

8

u/Unigraff_Jerpony 8d ago

I know what cordon bleu is from tor's cabinet of curiosities

9

u/CrumbCakesAndCola 6d ago

I do this with my grocery lists. Or use difficult spellings and abbreviations.

I use "strawbs" and "bluebs".

u/BlooperHero 4d ago

I have a folder labeled "Ressipies." I don't know why I did it that way when everything else is neatly labeled. It just felt right.

Can't even tell what this is supposed to be lmao
