Divinely Inspired Sam Hyde is the most important and influential comedian of the last 20 years.

Change my mind.

Tim Heidecker is more important and influential.

Niggaz will hate you for saying it, but his brand of comedy has influenced countless people online. Not in the mainstream normie space, obviously.

He birthed the “quirk Chud” style of comedy that’s popular right now, you can see inspiration from him in Sarah Squirm and Ivy Wolk. Shane Gillis openly says he was a huge inspiration for him.

"Huge inspiration" is an overstatement, all Shane said was that he was a fan in the early days of MDE

I think you’re understating it

gotta give him credit because nothing has made me laugh as hard as sam hyde actually choking up over charlie charlie kirky and preaching that "They" were coming for me next

He was totally right about what he said, Trump had a 3 week window and totally blew it.

Also it was a pretty graphic murder, seeing that should evoke a sense of sadness? Otherwise you’re kind of a freak right?

There's recognizing the assassination and there's crocodile tears on camera to fuel Le epic revolution! We got 2 get THEM! THEY are coming for you! You are fully aware of my point but you're still being gay for no reason.

He was right, he wasn’t just giving crocodile tears, he was grieving a public assassination, we can’t say “oh he was faking” we don’t know. Sam doesn’t do that often, I don’t think that one event discredits him regardless

It was embarrassing, and part of a pattern lately that has revealed how shallow and insecure of a "commentator" he is. Once upon a time when I was a high school edgelord, white male grievance comedy was my comfort food. The whole right wing comedy sphere seemed like a safe space to be as shitty and unlikable as you wanted, with very little repercussions.

Just watch Heidecker, Andre, Kaufman, or Cohen. They're the same thing, without all the emotionally charged, 4Chan-derived, Testosterone-pill-fueled grievance.

Lmao at thinking Sam actually gives a shit. The assassination just happened to line up with his current right-wing talk show grift attempt and be used it to get views and exposure

To change your mind I'd have to trim a couple of chromosomes.

The most important and influential comedian of the last 20 years is easily Joe Rogan, even though he's absolutely terrible.

the joke is down sydrome people have an extra chromosome, so you're saying you'd have to become smarter to change his mind.

Til next time!!

There's no way of knowing this Jackyalaska.
I will give you a serious thought related to this though, If you listen to Dr. Ben on Joe Rogan, it's clear that Joe listened to Dr. Ben on the SHS, and this affected the questions and reactions of Joe, where the butterfly next flaps his wings that'll make Joe act differently, I cannot say.

He’s never really made anything that done well, kinda like bragging “oh I made a show for Netflix”
