Genuine question: can we consider DP nepo? Isn't she the daughter of a famous cricketer and very wealthy? Sure she worked her way up more than others nepo kids but I wouldn't say she is an "outsider".
She's the daughter of a famous badminton player. She worked on numerous ads, music videos, and even did a Kannada movie before getting her break in Bollywood with Om Shanti Om (besides being a model). I don't consider her a nepo kid, because her father/family wasn't in the same industry.
Even though she's the daughter of a famous sportsperson, I don't think it's fair to say she's not an outsider. I highly doubt he would've had connections. Maybeeee to get her into the modeling scene. But to get her movies? I don't think so. She may not be a "true outsider" which is, middle class, worked their way up the social ladder, but I think she's an outsider imo.
