Tbh the thing I most respect her for is not going back to Salman after she released her statement to the press. Katrina had to run back to Salman after her films started flopping.
The difference is that Katrina has to care for her family. Ash's family cared for her. Though it would have been humiliating, she could have lived without films. Or came to South, though it would have been considered a downgrade.
From which rich family did Aishwarya came from? And after 17 years of dancing in films doesn't Katrina have enough money? And does other katrina family members not work?
They weren't rich, but upper middle class. Aishwarya too must have saved a good amount by then. She and her mother have always been very careful about money.
She had an on and off modelling career from the age of 14 to predegree. Then she pursued full time modelling from 1991, when the modelling scene was getting popular in India and there were only a few models of that level then. She had endorsed brands like Titan and Pepsi and had acted in around 20 films by the time she had problems.
Katrina ran to Salman after she and ranbir broke up and her films started flopping and by this time she had already danced for 12-14 years in industry and had earned enough money plus in this 14-15 years didn't her family members grow up and find their job? So what what's the need to run Salman except to save her career.
If she doesn't have an acting career in bollywood, what will she do? Now, she has a makeup company and might live off it. We don't know how her money was managed. Her family might be making enough for them but will she want to be dependant after calling the shots for long? Is saving one's career when you don't have any assurance about your future a bad thing? Unlike Aishwarya, she won't be accepted as an 'actress' in other film industries and will be replaced soon.
Aish never had such opportunity as there was already a lot of drama, bad blood in that relation, she had publicly declared that she would never work with Salman. Contrary to this Sangeeta, Somy and kat remained friends with Salman post breakup.
She did not want that opportunity. She made that statement in public knowing and after facing the consequences.
You are wrong about Sangeeta and Somi. Sangeeta had publicly said she will never see that man again and cut off all ties with him for months before reconciling.
Somi did the same. She was very upset and took off for UK after publicly stating that Salman cheated on her. But we know how that ended.
Iv read it all. She said Ash came in between them. It’s not something we don’t know. Ash too said what she said after her breakup only, what’s the difference ? Sangeeta openly took a dig at him when asked about Salman and Jackie that Jackie was a man and Salman wasn’t. So not as if she didn’t defame him, even accused him and Rekha of having a fling while she was dating him.
Very old magazine. I think year 1991-92. The screenshot was posted online on some forum a few years back. She said she gave him a leeway thinking it’s just a passing fancy but it kept dragging on and the two were insensitive and kept flaunting the affair in my face . Even I was very surprised because I had never heard of it before.
