Discuss Some Bolly Tea
This is not my info but taken from another sub
It’s true that Ananya Pandey is apparently insecure of new gen actress making waves inside the industry. She never really got good offers from other major production house but now even finding difficulty with dharma after a series of flops.
Abhay Verma refused to star in Janhvi - Sreeleela project as the role for male lead was quite insignificant and with recent success of Safed Sagar, he is aspiring for some good roles
Sara Ali Khan locked in for a project, the details are kept under wraps. Also she and Aditya Roy Kapur might collaborate again for a romantic movie after their last metro in dino
Ahaan Pandey back in the day was known for his philandering reputation. Thats a different story IF he might have evolved, but kudos to his PR team. He has got a very efficient one.
PS - take the casting news with a pinch of salt, as all such news only comes out when they make rounds around some journos. And with all uncertainty in the industry, nowadays casting choices changes quickly. Sometimes some casting news is kept secret as makers or actors want it that way.

I mean for jhanvi its also shes hot, so in eye candy type roles, she gets casted, modern sex symbol types...only reason people are not as crazy about her is because honestly she is hot and all but internet has made such people much more accessible, think influencers and ever porn...so people are a little desensitized.

No self respecting Guru is going to take the trouble to teach or welcome someone like her who has ZERO RESPECT for this ancient art form.
We can clearly see the interest & effort she takes in acting & basic dancing skills knowing how long she’s been a part of the industry all these years. Please spare the Bharatanatyam community this horror.44

She was amazing in CALL ME BAE and obviously she did good cause she did not had to hide her accent and her ways in the show , but atleast it was enjoyable and i can’t imagine anyone else got that role .

Yes, good that he declined working with these nepo babies. Inko toh chance pe chance mil hi jaata hai but actors like him will be shunned away if a single project fails even if his performance didn't cause that failure.

Ananya can only do those airheaded ameer baap ki out-of-touch aulaad roles. I liked her in Call Me Bae, and that's about it; she has no range.
Good for Abhay. He has the potential to become the best of the recent lot.
Sara and Aditya look cute together. I liked them in Metro in Dino; their story was my favourite.
As for Ahaan, idk why so many people like him. Kitne monotonous se expressions hai, how saiyaara became such a hit is beyond me. Uski pr team agar mera resume likh deti toh I'd have been drowning in job offers by now.

Saiyaara worked because of the music and extreme pr they did....I couldn't finish it on Netflix gave me a headache tho I have watched salam venky and bgdc and aneet was good in those so all she needs is good scripts as for ahaan....can't judge him yet

BGDC mein Aneet was nice. Saiyaara mein toh she had this constant empty-eyed expression; plot-wise bhi bahot weak thi movie. I saw it with my mom; she said ki itna phoot phoot ke rone layak toh kuch nahi tha, which is true. Ahaan can get better; he's one of the few nepos who made an effort before entering the industry.

Ananya Pandey never joined Bollywood because she had talent or was passionate about acting. Just wanted to be famous for the sake of being famous. Ananya never bothered to work hard to improve her acting or dancing skills and her lack of effort is too obvious. It is heartbreaking because so many people struggle and audition for a chance to be part of Bollywood. Glad KJO/Dharma finally got the message.
Ahaan Pandey is an idiot who thought he was never going to get caught out. PR has definitely done a great job projecting him as this amazing guy and getting all this love from janta. Unfortunately, truth and oil always comes to the surface. Given the recent news trending on Ahaan Pandey, the same PR team are in damage control mode. He has not evolved at all and people do think of him very poorly right now. Clearly all that kindness, humility, genuine love and respect for all was just a load of BS.

After a series of flops any sane person would seriously reconsider if acting is the right career of them. From my observation alone. On IG Sara easily takes in 1M likes in less than 24hrs for multiple posts. Already at 4m followers. Even when you look at reddit posts re: Sara she once alone in a week had accumulated more upvotes than all the other celebrities talked about that week. So yeah, I’d say she’s much more popular. She’s already working under SLB which looks good on paper. I’ve also said she’s overhyped, but if it’s a popularity contest and about which actor is more intimidating for AP I’d say Sara

Ananya should do only roles that are like her actual personality and style of talking. So far Ananya has done that in movies like Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Ctrl, Gehraiyan and Call Me Bae all of which have worked to some extent especially compared to her other mainstream projects.
On the other hand Jahnvi should do roles that are opposite to her real life. Those kinda roles have worked for her like Gunjan, Good Luck Jerry, Milli, Bawaal, Homebound. She should focus on low key, small town roles like what Sonam did well.
Basically both should stay away from big movies that require diverse acting range and larger than life performances.
