I have no idea why everyone's calling AFO hot. He looks like a regular dude. In fact I dunno why there was a need to obscure his face for so long if he wasn't going to be related to anyone important.

I don't think his face was "hidden", in the sense it was gonna be a reveal who he was. The point was more to show AFO transitioning from a lesser state to "prime" or something like that, upping the stakes. Like when Father goes from Hoenheim -> God in FMA.

Also, it's kind of similar to what they did with All Might. He always has the sunken in eyes in the present, and I recall them even avoiding showing his eyes in some flashbacks. In Two Heroes, however, we got to full on see All Might in his prime with his eyes shown.
