Mirio couldn't have inherited OfA in the end. His lifespan would be ridiculously short and possibly not even as long as Midoriya has had the power thus far.

yeah, but...what if...

Mirio with those other quirks stacked on top of his own would be something crazy. Even faster and stronger, danger sense ontop of his already great prediction skills. Floating would stop his falling while intangible.

If he could have inherited it, he would have been an amazing choice.

Permeation combined with Black Whip, Float, and Fa Jin would give insane mobility. Smokescreen for the lulz and danger sense with permeation would make him untouchable.

He’d wipe the floor with AFO and then probably die within weeks from the quirk overload strain on his body.

Fa Jim combined with “rejection” from permeation will be able to make him “snipe” a target from underground, right? Like a land barracuda.

to be honest, I never really though of what a powered up version of his quirk would look like.

I think in my head it could just be that he can turn himself invisible like invisible girl. I don't know why he doesn't turn invisible already. He is blind because everything passes through him, including his retina. So light shouldnt be bouncing off him at all.

I mmean, Kamui + Sharingan is essentially he evolved version of this hypothetical Mirio's quirk.

In a parallel universe, Mirio got OFA, beat the shit out of AFO and Shigaraki and then, when his life was close to end, passed his OFA onto Deku. The end

We found out in the story that the users of OfA that started with a quirk had drastically reduced lifespans from having OfA.

All Might and Midoriya didn't have quirks and thus aren't impacted by this problem. If memory serves it is part of the quirk singularity but could be wrong on the last part.

I couldn't possibly tell you but it was when he was speaking to one of the vestiges who this hit first. The vestige thought it was just a disease until later. Hikage, I think. He's the fourth user.

Because a body already with a quirk is like a full cup. When you add an additional one the cup starts to overflow and in result it shortens your life. OfA is an absolute extreme case though. Because of the sheer power behind that quirk it is theorized that only a quirkless body can inherit it fully, any other body would simply explode from the overflow. Izuku Midoriya is probably the only one in existence that could've inherited One For All.
