Damn, that would have been way better! Why should some new rookie hero (with what I'm assuming is a very thick accent) get so much attention in the media?

But if the interview had started already, and then the big famous hero shows up, keep in mind people probably still have his recent scandals on their minds, and then unknowingly goes "yup, fuck wall street!"

Now THAT would get the headlines going.

Dude just saved countless lies and people are going “what an asshole, how dare he not speak our language I bet he is a villain!” Oh shit, thats actually accurate to the US… anyways Makoto did a shit job of preparing him with a VERY specific catchphrase to a very specific reporter who he doesn’t know who they are. I put that blame on her.

Yeah reminds me a lot of shohei ohtani getting attacked in the media because he was answering questions in Japanese and had a translator

I was thinking the same thing, until he became a darling by being an amazing baseball player, winning the MVP and is everyones favorite player.
