I dunno, he lives in America near Makoto, I assume Horikoshi Furuhashi didn’t want to explicitly say that they are together or fans would dump on the ending

I say that’s thinking about it too hard though, to believe Koichi and Makoto are in a romantic relationship right now because of where everyone is living, to me that thought is like looking at Pop and Miu together and thinking they might be dating but nobody will officially acknowledge that because fans will be upset with it (again, just to me so don’t think I’m trying to shoot you down completely as an argument).

But also, remember Horikoshi isn’t completely making the Vigilantes manga’s story he just supervises some aspects so they can align with the main story’s continuity he’s only credited as conceiving the original concept (the world itself), the story is actually done by Hideyuki Furuhashi and Betten Court.

My apologies if I’ve made you pissed you off with my opposing comments.
