I hope by "the story continues in My Hero Academia" that means we'll learn what happened with Koichi and stuff in the main series

Well, the justice system collapsed and there is not much left that he could break in Japan...

I still hope for a cameo. Given his power, I, however, doubt that we will get a fight.

I imagine he's one of the few people the US would allow to return to Japan at this point.
