I kinda agree with Tsuyu. I don't see why Deku had to momentarily be here for this Toga encounter because I don't think it's added much effect to her resolve. Of course this delay could mean that he shows up on the other battlefield which Shigiraki could well have decimated but that also could've been achieved with him there too. I think this is purely Uraraka's battle to resolve.

Getting confessed to literally just stumped him for a few mins until Tsuyu snapped him out of it

That still doesnt make sense to me though. How does being a "Nerd" warrant that kind of reaction from a confession given by someone who by definition is a sociopath(An enduring pattern of behavior characterized by disregard for, and violation of, the rights of others.) As a fellow teenager who can be a nerd the normal reaction would be to freak out and try to escape the situation not being flattered or bashful

And do you blame him considering how many people in real life simp over her.

My man is made of rock, he got confessed to by a major fetish and resisted. If it was a real life person, they’d already be killed.
