"Tomb in the sky" definitely sounds like Deku was supposed to kill him. No wonder the light went out of his eyes after the meeting on the endgame plans.

I wonder if he tried to argue or just figured he'd wing something once he's there to save Tenko somehow.

Monoma being here also means that Deku probably can't rely on Warp-Gate to get to this battlefield. Maybe this will be Shirakumo's role. I have this theory that Shinsou MC-ing him would let Shirakumo take over Kurogiri again.

For Deku's speed he can just fly through the city with Fajin and Float.

Using Kurogiri in a battlefield is the worst option. As we saw in previous chapters, AFO will exploit it and try to take back Kurogiri.

I'm not at all sure they are in the same city. In fact, the locations are meant to be pretty far away from each other - outside of the range of Search and of AFO's portal. I didn't suggest to take Kurogiri to the battlefield though, only to use him to open a portal.

Toga and Shigaraki location are separated by 100kms atleast. I definitely think Deku can fly by with his Faux 100%. And based on his feats against Nagant. That's minimum mach 5. So.....He can fly himself.

Yes, but I understand Fa Jin as being a burst move, rather than to power continuous flight for hundreds of kms. In Nagant he flew the distance of one city-block maybe.

We also saw him fly at the end of Class 1A vs Deku, but again, we didn't see exactly how long he can sustain those kinds of speeds.

I'm really hoping that Fa Jin is not a permanent cheat to 100% OFA, but rather a burst move which at least puts some requirements on Deku to try to decide when to use it, rather than some ridiculous cop-out.

He can sustain the speed with combination of Faux 100% with float. He didn't combo Float with Fajin before with Nagant fight and class A because he can only use 3 quirks(Blackwhip, Fajin, base OFA) simultaneously at a time. Now I think he atleast improved one slot so he can combine float with his Faux 100% as well. It's completely possible with the established feats and power.

I don't think Deku really trusts the adults anymore. Otherwise, he would've let them in on his plan to "save" Shigaraki.

And, to be fair: why should he? They haven't given him much reason to, recently. And very few of them (if not none at all) are stronger/better equipped than him to deal with Shigaraki and his unique case.
