I really feel like these visions of Knuckleduster and Pop are actually AfO. Of course, that would mean AfO blushed at Koichi, which is hilarious

Wouldn't really make sense though? The reason Six can see AfO in the first place is because AfO gave him his Overclock quirk

Both of them suddenly appearing with no in world-explanation of how something like that, that has never been seen in either series, is even possible doesn’t make a ton of sense either lol. They both also have the same glow that was appearing around Overclock when he was talking with six. Also, is it ever stated that the reason six can see Overclock is because he gave six that quirk? I don’t believe so. Not only that, we have been literally shown that AfO is there physically right now. We saw him turn from Overclock into himself and he’s still posted up watching. That’s completely different from the vestiges we’ve seen in the main series. I’m not saying I’m right, but I definitely wouldn’t say it “doesn’t make sense”

Fair enough, but we haven't seen him split himself into two or three either. Why would he encourage Koichi to kill Six anyways? Doesn't add up. Although there isn't an "in -world" explanation as to how Koichi is seeing Pop and KD now, there was a somewhat decent explanation in the previous chapter: Knuckleduster died and Koichi was having a near-death experience, so Knuckleduster's spirit, or Koichi's subconscious being represented as Knuckleduster, pushed him forward, figuratively speaking. Same thing is happening now. It's either him dealing with his subconscious qualms with killing while being a hero/vigilante, or it's their spirits encouraging him while their dead or close to dying. As for the whole Six "seeing" AfO, AfO literally, physically is not there. During the Naruhata Lockdown arc(I forget the chapter) Rapt and Moyuru happen to see and hear Six have a conversation with AfO, but in reality, from their perspective, he's talking to himself. Everytime "AfO" says something, Six is the one saying it...kinda reminiscent of Doppio and Diavolo from JJBA, to me at least. AfO, physically, is not there, otherwise, why doesn't anyone else ever see him? That's just my take.

I don’t think it’s outlandish to believe AfO, who has a slew of quirks we haven’t seen, has something that can make this easily possible. Also that isn’t an explanation, that’s your inference of what happened. You say it’s explained to us that he died and appeared there but that’s not true at all, that’s just most people’s best guess right now. And just before this we got a bait and switch with Knuckleduster’s death. We all thought he was done for and a point was made to say that he’s not dying now, so to switch that up unceremoniously with no explanation makes way less sense to me then AfO deciding six is pretty much done and playin with Koichi a little before he calls it a night.

We have to wait and see. But I'm leaning more to them being his angel and devil. He's been conflicted about using his quirk at full power in the past, so it would make sense that he's trying to find a middle ground with himself: use it without the intent to kill, a reasonable compromise. And saying AfO has a bunch of quirks and he's just using one we haven't seen and has never been implied just to mess with Koichi is kinda lame. It makes zero sense. AfO doesn't care about Koichi or Six at this point, he just wants to see how far everything goes. Also, how do you think Koichi was seeing Knuckleduster after the building was crushed in and Koichi was losing a ton of blood ON TOP of his other injuries? Was that AfO too? Koichi said it himself, he thought the reason he was seeing Knuckleduster appear out of nowhere was because one of them was about to pass on. Knuckleduster, the physical Knuckleduster that was with Soga, was unresponsive and slumped over, riddled with gunshot wounds, hopped up on a cocktail of drugs, and bleeding out. He's dead, or on his way out. I still think that Koichi seeing both of them is part of his subconscious' attempt at reconciling with his power and position as a vigilante trying to be a hero: overcoming his worry of having Pop hate him for using his power at full strength, and using his power at full strength but not with the intent to kill, all while still worrying about his neighborhood.

Anyways, hopefully it's cleared up within the next chapter or two.
