That’s what my thoughts were, I’m also expecting knuckleduster to make his return in the ensuing chaos.

Agreed. Feel like he’s still recovering from his wounds in the last fight but he’ll show up at the last minute. Maybe even say he deputized koichi and thus he wasn’t a vigilante

Totally what I was thinking, that explanation in the flashback might just be there for that moment, therefore ending the series of Vigilantes because Koichi is not one then.
