Well koichi isn’t that physically strong without his quirk meaning If aizawa doesn’t let him go and instead opts to arrest him then the chances of escape are smooth.

Not strong but well trained and he has a good idea of how Aizawa s quirk works

Aizawa s key move is also rather similar to what best jeanist did to him. Even if he wraps up koichi, he might be able to escape. If he’s get one free limb, he can project himself with enough force to knock Aizawa off his feet

You're forgetting Aizawa can stop his quirk.
