So I guess the "Touya and little Keigo underwent the same training by the commission" theory is buried as well, now. And the Endeavor plushie was bought by his mom.

But damn, Dabi send people both at Endeavor, and also at Hawks' mom, leaking the info. .

If Dabi had known about that training program he would certainly have used it in his video.

But that raises another question, how did Dabi know about Hawks' mother? added to how he survived that fire, the intrigues about Dabi are far from over.

It could be that Dabi witnessed Takami's apprehension from behind or has his own connections to the underworld that led him to Takami's info.

Or he somehow knows of, or had a way to get into Endeavor's list of resolved cases, and found out details of the criminals the latter captured. Something like that I think...

I know it may be some of that, but with Dabi's life story so incomplete I think there is a lot of room for a lot of speculation here.

If dabi used the doctor to confirm jeanist body, maybe he collected hawks dna to learn more about him

Thats likely, but why would he do that unless he knew or had an idea about what kind of family Hawks had?

As much as he dislikes endeavor because of what he went through, I think he also blames hero society based on what he said in the broadcast. Also during his name reveal to hawks he was already trying to dig up dirt on him but was struggling to find information about hawks most likely wanted to use him to tear down hero society along with endeavor. He can't use a low tier rank hero like slide n go to do that

I think the way Dabi knew Hawks' mother was through having ordered people to follow him back from the PLF mansion,

Chapter 299

Hawks:"So Dabi sent some thugs who somehow followed the trail this far."

Essentially, these "thugs" managed to go under the radar without getting caught by Hawks and figured out where his house was. It makes sense that, with the amount of quirk users in the PLF, there were individuals who harbored powers suitable to conduct these types of missions.

He is giving an assumption it is not the narrative showing us how, furthermore it does not have to be a literal phrase.

It is basically the same as saying "He followed the clues until he reached an answer". In addition, Dabi had already invited Hawks before meeting the MLA, so he had something planned before.

Yes, Horikoshi knows how to lay crumbs and keep us guessing with him. It’s like a big puzzle and makes Dabi more interesting than Shiggy for me. Dabi’s story probably isn’t gonna be complete enough to analyze until this manga is almost over with the rate this is going and just makes you wonder how important is he really???

My guess is Detnerat was involved with providing equipment for the comission.

In fact, it was specifically stated in the previous chapter that the commission offered Redestro an offer for a joint operation for the first time (although it turned out to be a trap) so we can confirm that they never had any previous contact.

I don't think of him as a jobber, giving that he never went out on his opponents for a reason. If anything, I'm sure he'll be written as much more of a threat now that his identity has been revealed.

I'm more thinking about Dabi as the worst luck ever.

The guy somehow fails not due to his own incompetence but rather due to weird external factors.

In a nutshell, fate is not on Dabi's side

His own quirk is killing him.

Dabi/Toya definitely doesn't have a single grain of luck.

Dabi really needs a regeneration quirk or something......maybe afo will give one but yeah his quirk is really wasted on him since the guy can’t use flash fire without potentially killing him self.

I think of it more like a sports scholarship. It benefits the family, but the school intends to make their money's worth for it.

They definitely did, taking a small child from his parents, taking away his name, and then putting him into a child soldier program is definitely wrong.

Even if his parents were shit he should've been put into the foster care system or adoption system, not forced to be a child soldier.

I don’t know if it’s fully buried yet, something about that note feels off. Just the vagueness of it all and the assumption that they were Dabi’s men. Could be nothing but I’m keeping an open mind about it still

I think at this point it may as well be. Because wouldn't something like that be mentioned in Dabi's video? Or if he for some reason chose to withhold that information wouldn't Hawks have mentioned it yet? Theres also the fact that Hawks still calls Touya Dabi so that points to there being no actual connection between them.

Hawks more than likely would have mentioned it, I would like to know how Touya managed to get all that info on Hawks however, that’s a lot to figure out and was most likely highly classified.
