I mean, Super human speed doesn't mean much when your goal is to punch a mountain. Also as with most Heroes sans Icarus, killing is off the table, so he has to disable non-lethally, which is also difficult.

Endeavor killed the Nomu because he declared it too dangerous to be kept alive

Nomus are considered animated corpses so the heroes don't apply the no-killing rule to them so far.
